Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, it is tried to study in four chapters that central banks? institutionaland legal concepts how effect their indepence.In first chapter, it is illustreted a central bank indepence framework that includeaccepted and recent literature. It is emphasized that how central banks are constructed andhow this effects their indepence.The indepence progress which Turkish Republic of Central Bank?s (CRBT)shows from it?s establisment to nowadays with recent literature and historical story isspecified in second chapter.In the third chapter, it is studied indepence of European Central Bank Systems.It is answered the qeustion How central bank indepence will face Turkey at the end of thisnegotiatin which has started in 2005 with Europan Union?Finally, fourth chapter is concerned with Federal Reserve System whichexecutes American cenrtal banks duties. Because The USA has the biggest economy in theworld, and we wonder about this huge economy acknowledges how the concept of centralbank indepence is adopted.
