Abstract (EN)

This study is aimed to determine in service training needs of theacher in accordance with new program concept in vocational high education. The research universe of the study is in service training seminars conducted by the minestry of national education in 2009. The samble size is two in service training seminars in fall term that were participated by vocational high schools and 200 teachers. The questionair form was shaped in two part. The first part incluted questions that related with demografic information of teachers and also the opinion of teachers on the in-service trainings they took part in before (its content and the reasons of their participation to those programs). In the second part of questionaire, there were 38 questions to understand the educational needs of theachers in accordance with new education program. The differantion level of the in service training needs of theacher according to their gender, profession experience and the type of the school was analized by using T Test and One Way ANOVA techniques. The significant level was accepted as 0.05. As a result of these analizing, the teachers need of the recognizing students was found highest than other six in service training needs. The teachers other in service training needs was found moderate level. There were differentiation by the experience level and type of the schools. But there was no differentiation by the gender.Key Words: Vocational education, modular system, in service training.
