Professionalization is accelerated thissituation and to get rich it. It is the first stage for individual which is active inprofession to acquire some professional tendencies. It is possible to expansion ofinfluence boundaries of occupation when the individual becomes professional. Theidea of occupational life has a structure which based on these two foundations.This study which suggest the idea that when both occupation and individualhas professional characteristics, it is possible to continue a life which is harmoniouswith the occupational values depart from the concept of profession. The theoreticalapproach about occupations and the historical development is explained withdetailed. After the investigation of causes and process of professionalization,attributes of professionalization is analyzed sociologically and psychologically. Somecomponents and surroundings of occupational life which based on some assumptionsabout components of occupational and individual professionalism is determined andoccupational life model is constituted.Occupational life model which is constituted in theoretical framework isanalyzed in a sample with three professions-academics, physician and lawyer. Inthis manner, the validity of the idea of occupational life and the differences ofprofessions is determined. Besides, a hypothesized model which utilized fromstructural equation modeling is constituted. Thanks to this model it is supported inthe entire sample (without occupational differences) that the model has harmoniouscomponents and this components has causal relationships.
