Abstract (EN)

It is a fact that the indoor air quality of spaces is very important for human health in order to have a healthy and comfortable life. Fresh air is also needed in indoor sports halls for sports and athlete health. The ambient air needs to be conditioned in terms of thermal comfort. In this research; temperature and humidity data of the environment were collected in indoor sports halls to condition the air of the space; energy analysis was performed in terms of ventilation in line with the obtained data. While performing the energy analysis, data from different seasons of the year, namely December, March and June, were obtained. Using this data, the calculation program prepared by İZODER according to the TS-825 standard, the specific heat loss and annual heating energy requirement were calculated with the standard assumptions and the collected data, as well as the heat gain prepared by TMMOB, and the results were compared. Calculations were made to create the conditions needed to provide fresh air to the environment, and according to the results, the deficiencies of the gym in terms of thermal comfort were determined and solutions were sought to achieve the desired conditions. The fans, vents, diffusers, dampers and air filters, which are parts of the system, work in a certain order. The purpose of ventilation is to clean the air of the environment and to discharge the polluted gases accumulated in the environment to the outside environment. The system inevitably consumes energy while providing these comfort conditions. In this research, it was concluded that if the building insulation is done correctly in the annual heating need and heat gain savings of the place in question, there will be a 53% decrease in specific heat loss, a 20% decrease in annual heating energy need, a 6% decrease in heat gain and significant savings; together with the cost analysis, healthy environmental conditions will be achieved in terms of thermal comfort by making appropriate air conditioning.
