Abstract (EN)
MgO and MgO.CaO based refractories have been used commonly in field of high temperature applications because of their base properties and high temperature resistant behaviors. These kinds of MgO and MgO.CaO based refractories have a hydration problem and the ?hydration resistance? is an important parameter for working with them. In this study, MgO and MgO.CaO particles were coated with TiO2 layer via sol-gel method to increase the hydration resistance and decrease the tend of hydration.
