Abstract (EN)

In this study, it was aimed to determine the regeneration abilities of different plant growth regulators (Kinetin and Indole butyric acid) combinations on different explants of sea beet (Beta vulgaris var. maritima (L.) Arcang) plant under in-vitro conditions. Determination of hypocotyl, node and cotyledon explants in MS media prepared with different doses of kinetin (KIN) and Indole-3-butyric acid (IBA) (0, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0 mg/L). regeneration capabilities were determined. In the study, callus formation rate (%), shoot formation rate (%), rooting rate (%), number of shoots per explant (number). The root formation rate of the shoots of this explant was 100% in the medium without kinetin, where 0.5, 1.5 and 2.0 mg/l IBA doses were applied. According to the obtained results, it was determined that 0.0 mg/L KIN + 1.5 mg/L IBA doses was most effective application in the node explant for in-vitro propagation of this plant species. It was determined that in the rapid reproduction of this plant species, the node explant can be used very conveniently for the rapid reproduction of the plant.
