Abstract (EN)

In this study; On/Off, Proportional (P), Proportional+Derivative (PD),Proportional+Integral (PI) and Proportional+Integral+Derivative (PID)controller algorithms have been implemented based on an embeddedmicrocontroller software and applied to a model heating system that wasdesigned. System software has been performed in a way that not only to controlthe temperature of the system but also to use it as a ?process-control?experimental kit and for observing the effects of various control types on themodel. The communication between the microcontroller and the outside world, conversion of the digital quantities to their analog counterparts, processingthe obtained data in order to acquire the desired output, designing themicrocontroller and applying it to ?a model system? with suitable peripherals asa whole one are the aims of the control system in this thesis.Science Code : 905.1.084Key Words : Embedded Software, Temperature Control, Microcontroller,On/Off, Proportional (P), Proportional + Derivative (PD),Proportional + Integral (PI) and Proportional + Integral +Derivative (PID) Controllers.Page Number : 152Adviser : Prof. Dr. Veysel S L ND R
