The problems encountered in the functioning of the teachers' board and solutions in national education system

The overall purpose of this study was to investigate the problems encountered in the functioning of the teachers' board and solutions in the district of Finike. The teacher is the person who has direct contact with the student who will be the product of education and training and lives with the students in the application of education and training activities. The Board of Teachers' Meetings are organized twice at the beginning and end of the term. If necessarıly Teachers' board meetings shall be held with the same principles and procedures in order to discuss the decisions taken at previous meetings and any new agenda items, upon the call of the educational institution director/head of teachers' board or the written request of the absolute majority of the members. This study presented the problems encountered in the operation of the teachers' board committee and solutions for problems by adding the literature research related to the topic. In this study, a holistic multiple case study was used. The working group consisted of 16 teachers. The researchers developed a semi-structured interview form and ensured its validity and reliability by doing a pilot study. As a result, according to the response of the teachers, the most problem encountered in the planning of the teachers' board were associated with problem of the joint decision and interaction. The second problem was related to functioning problem. This problem arises from the fact that the decisions have been left just on the paper.Another problem is related to communication problem. There was the existence of a communication problem among teachers' board teachers. Lastly, when the suggestions given by the teachers are investigated, teachers suggested taking common activities.
