Graphic design on architectural and urban areas: Wayfinding design

Growth of cities and importance of design required urban designers to improve themselves. Area designing was important for urban designers to improve themselves better. Area description was the required space and formed the design areas reflecting cultures which nested both individual and social relationships since ancient times to our time.By the time, the industrial design and urban planning was linked to this development, a graphic design deparment united under the name of environmental graphic design was born.The purpose of this study, was a research upon the graphic applications and wayfinding design in the fields of architecture and urban, to inform about navigation systems which were to be functional and visuality in the fields of architecture and urban. Communication is the exchange of information between ?senders? and ?receivers?. Communication design plans how to enrich this action.
