Abstract (EN)

In the present study, the mechanical and physical properties of polymer composites with mineral admixtures were investigated. Epoxy resin was used as the matrix material and the mineral admixture in waste form was used as reinforcement element. The mechanical and physical properties of the produced polymer based flooring materials were determined and characterized. For this purpose, the mechanical tests were determined for pressure-tensile strength, modulus of elasticity, ability to absorb energy, tensile-deformation behavior and scratch and abrasion resistance. Physical properties include water absorption by weight, unit volume weight, surface water retention properties (contact angle and associated surface energy). As a result of the experiments, it has been found that the mineral additive significantly increases the tensile, compression, hardness, abrasion resistance of polymer materials in terms of mechanical and physical properties.
