Abstract (EN)
In this study, it is aimed to reveal the relationship between the motivation of the employees, which is one of the psychosocial risk factors and work accidents. It is emphasized that in addition to the occupational health and safety training the workplace, the decrease in the motivation of the employees and the stress caused by the lack of motivation will increase work accidents and conversely, the increase in their motivation will prevent both work accidents and thus productivity. These factors, which are generally much easier to be ignored in working life, are not given sufficient attention due to their long term effects and they cause serious role model conflicts and deterioation of workplace peace. It necessary to focus on the physical, chemical and biological risk factors at a minimum level and the implementation of preventive and restrictive measures is also required. Those who are happy in their workplaces are more motivated, more attentive and more conscientious and this reduces the rate of accidents due to high sense of belonging. It is thought that this issue which occupies very little place in academic studies may be a good source fort he following ones.
