Abstract (EN)

It can be said that accounting profession is one of the most needed labor fields in the business world. Today, most of the personnel needs of this profession are met by students who have received accounting education. The accounting profession is seen as a profession based on current knowledge and practice. Following a three-year theoretical education in Vocational and Technical Anatolian High Schools, it is a process that lasts for two days in the last year in the form of theoretical education in the school and three days in the business practice training. In this study, 134 students who are practicing in Vocational and Technical Anatolian High Schools located in Bucak and Çavdır districts of Burdur have been surveyed in order to evaluate the content of accounting education and problems in practice education.
