Abstract (EN)

The intensity of people's working life and the necessity of getting things done on time cause stress, fatigue and dissatisfaction. Not being able to cope with these situations triggers burnout as the last stage. Professions in which human relations are intense have a more triggering role in bringing burnout to the fore. By its nature, the accounting profession is a profession in close relations with people, customers and public institutions. Therefore, members of this profession work under intense stress due to their work intensity and the number of people they deal with. This study empirically examines whether accounting professionals experience burnout syndrome and to what extent this burnout level is. In the study, a survey was conducted on accounting professionals in the provinces of Muş, Bitlis, Van and Hakkâri in the TRB2 region.In the study, it was concluded that there is a relationship between the Number of children and taxpayers of accounting professionals and the burnout syndrome.
