Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to evaluate the effects of M-Gravity program on posture, physical fitness, quality of life, depression and sleep quality in women who do not have exercise habits. A total of 40 female individuals were included in the study. While 20 female individuals who applied to a private sports center for exercise were included in the exercise group, 20 women who did not have regular exercise habits were included in our study as the control group. The exercise group was given M-Gravity exercise for 60 minutes, 8 sessions per month, twice a week. Posture analysis of both groups was evaluated with New York Posture Analysis. Flexibility of the hamstring and pectoral muscles was evaluated for flexibility, which is one of the physical fitness parameters, and the time to stay in the plank position was evaluated for the endurance level. Trunk stabilization was assessed with Stabilizer pressure biofeedback (Chattanooga Stabilizer). Perceived health levels of women were assessed with the Nottingham Health Profile (NSP) questionnaire. Depression levels were evaluated with the Beck Depression Scale. Sleep quality was measured with the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PUKI). Two evaluations were made before and after 4 weeks of exercise. As a result, after the exercises; New York Posture analysis, endurance time, Hamstring right-left and stabilizer scores were statistically significantly higher in the M-Gravity exercise group (p<0.05). Pectoral right-left and NSP scores were statistically significantly higher in the control group (p<0.05). Depression scale and sleep quality averages did not differ statistically between the groups (p>0.05). As a result, we came to the idea that eight sessions of M-Gravity program may have positive effects on posture, physical fitness, quality of life, depression and sleep quality in women who do not have exercise habits. We came to the idea.
