The evaluation and condition of music history lesson used in education from the aspects of methods and tecnhnics

In this research, the lesson of music history was evaluated in terms of approaches and techniques by consulting the Education Faculty Fine Arts Department Music Teaching Program and the lecturers of the Music Departments of the Fine Arts Faculty.The data in the research were obtained by applying a source scan and a poll. The data obtained were evaluated in two main categories as personal information and information relevant to the process of the lesson, and consequences and suggestions were made in this way. In addition, active teaching methods concerning the lesson of music history were determined and introduced, and suggestions about how the lesson will be performed more efficiently with the methods and techniques used were presented with the help of this research. The research was made up of 5 parts.It was determined at the end of the research that the lecturers used partly different methods, techniques and strategies in teaching the lesson of music history. It was also determined that there were similarities in terms of used sources.Key Words: The lesson of music history, music teaching, teaching methods, techniques and strategies.
