Abstract (EN)

Our country ranks first among the world's boron reserves. Therefore, all scientific studies with boron and its compounds are of strategic importance for our country. Uncovering the different properties of boron compounds used in many fields and improving their existing properties will add more value and importance to it. In this sense, every work done is very valuable and very important. In this study, it was aimed to synthesize Li3Y2(BO3)3 and Na2Zr(BO3)2 compounds in their cationic positions in the crystal lattice structure, by reducing the stoichiometric ratios of Zr and Y elements and replacing them with some rare earth metals by solid-state synthesis method. First of all, the photoluminescences of these materials were taken, and the emission performances of these phosphors were explained with an energy level diagram. In addition to emission analysis, XRD, SEM and FTIR studies were also carried out to understand the structure, crystal and structural details of the optical material studied. In this way, it is foreseen to be used in science and technology. In this study, it was aimed to synthesize rare earth elements, which are of great scientific importance, by doping to borate compounds at different rates, for this purpose, Li3Y2(BO3)3 and Na2Zr(BO3)2 compounds were doped with rare earth elements at different rates for the first time by using solid state chemical synthesis method and successfully synthesized. It has been determined that rare earth metals enter into the compound structure. The crystal, structural and optical properties of the obtained compounds were investigated by FTIR, XRD, SEM and photoluminescence.
