Abstract (EN)
This study deals with the problem of evil in the works of Nahid Sırrı Örik, who remained outside the mainstream in Turkish literature, but was able to produce powerful works with his works. Although the problem of evil has been handled and dealt with in different ways in literature, it is not a common method in the modernization effort of Turkish literature. Although the problem of evil has a great place in Turkish literature in modern times, it is very difficult to find examples of the first period. However, Nahid Sırrı Örik is a writer who has been able to find a special place with what he has mentioned in the literature of evil and can process "ordinary evil" in his works. The works of Nahid Sırrı have been approached for this purpose, since the attraction of beauty and beauty, especially in female characters, is considered as the main source of evil, and it has been suggested in this thesis that the author argues that beauty causes evil in all cases. In the first part, the descriptions about evil are included, in the second part, the life of the author is mentioned, and in the last part, the evil in his works is discussed. Keywords: evil, perception of evil, evil in literature, ordinary evil, romance novel
