Idioms, proverbs and stereotyped words in Necati Tosuner's children's books

Language is the factor that causes human beings to express themselves to their fellow humans and open up to the world in daily life. In this respect, language, which lives with human beings, develops and has a spiritual quality, is seen as a means of notification in its essence. This is an indication that language plays an important role in the production and transmission of ideas. The language that undertakes such a task reflects the mentality of a nation. Words are the basic elements in forming the vocabulary of the language they belong to. In this respect, vocabulary consists of idioms, proverbs, terms, stereotypes, connotations and metaphorical meanings. Although idioms, proverbs and terms in the vocabulary are closely related to each other, they are also in relation with the general language layers. Osman Necati Tosuner is one of the writers of contemporary Turkish literature who produces works in many genres such as short stories, novels and stories. The author, who presents traces of his own life in his works, frequently includes images, imitations, rhetoric, idioms, proverbs and stereotyped phrases in his works. Within the scope of this study, Kitabın Adı, Dayım Balon Olmuş, Arda'nın Derdi Ne?, Yaz Sevenler Kış Sevenler, Keleş Osman (Keleş Osman Evden Kaçıyor- Keleş Osman'ın Tarihle Başı Dertte), Dur Bakalım Petek saying examined in terms of idiom, proverb and patterns of word. Vocabulary in the specified works; It has been analyzed and reported in terms of dictionary definitions, structure, meaning and content. In line with the examinations, it was determined that the author frequently included vocabulary in his works.
