Abstract (EN)
There are some concepts that are accepted as fundamental at all times and that people who deal with philosophy deal with first. The most fundamental of these is the concept of human being. It would not be wrong to say that almost all philosophers have their own definitions of human beings. However, unlike these definitions, we see that Nietzsche has his own interpretation. His philosophy is shaped around the definition of human being. Nietzsche separates human beings from each other and then separates the morality of human beings from each other. The most important concept of his philosophy is the superhuman. According to him, man is something to be transcended. In his own words, man is a rope stretched between the upper man and the animal. What is ultimately necessary is to get rid of this intermediate state and reach the superhuman. We need to transcend the concept of the human, if we accept to remain only human, we become a dirty river. But the human being should be a sea rather than a dirty river. The morality of this person who manages to become a superhuman will of course be different from others. It is a difficult path to reach the superhuman, but once on this path, the individual should never look back. The herd person, as the opposite of the superior person, is a worthless person according to Nietzsche. Because even what he wants in life is decided by others, not by himself. As can be seen, Nietzsche built his philosophy by separating people. With this decomposition, he reached the most important concept of his philosophy, the superhuman. Moreover, the concept of will to power is the most important part of human life. It can be said that Nietzsche's ideas are different from the definitions we are used to. In this thesis titled "Nietzsche's Understanding of Man and Morality", the philosopher's definitions of man and other concepts in his philosophy will be discussed. Keywords: Morality, Decadence, Power will, Nihilism, Top human
