Synthesis and spectroscopic analysis of some metal halide complexes of nicotinic acid N-oxide molecule

Abstract (EN)
In this study, some nicotinic acid N-oxide metal halide complexes that are given with the formula M(NANO)2X2 [M:Cd,Cu,Mn and Ni; X:Br,CI,I; NANO:Nicotinic Acid N-oxide] have been synthesised by chemically. The FT-IR and FT-Raman spectra of the obtained complexes were recorded in the region (4000-400 cm- 1 ) and (3500-0 cm- 1 ) respectively. As a result of the reported spectra ,it is found that the vibrational frequency values of free ligand molecule differ from complex structure and these differences depend on metal and halogen atoms. The chemical formulas of complexes are determined by the elemental analysis results. The proposed geometrical structure for complexes were explained according to frequency shifts.
