Abstract (EN)

The rapid increase in the population and the increase in living standards in the world increase the need for air conditioning and cooling systems. For this reason, efforts to increase the energy performance of devices for air conditioning and cooling systems are gaining momentum day by day. In addition to reducing the energy consumption of cooling systems, it is very important that the refrigerants used in the systems are environmentally friendly. In this study, a research was carried out on the non-inverter split device used in the air conditioning system in an MDF factory. An evaluation was made according to the first and second laws of thermodynamics by using three different refrigerants R22, R32 and R410A in the same ambient conditions. The cooling performance coefficients, energy, exergy and exergy efficiencies of the system were calculated and compared with each other. The enthalpy and entropy values of the refrigerants used in the study were calculated with the help of the EES (Engineering Equation Solver) program. The COP values of the refrigerants (R32, R22 and R410A) used in the study are 6.89, 2.70, 6.08, respectively. The exergy efficiency of the refrigerant with a high COP value is also high. As a result of the study, the highest cooling performance (COP) and exergy efficiency were achieved when R32 and R410A gases were used, and the lowest COP and exergy efficiency was achieved when R22 gas was used. While the ODP values of R32 and R410A refrigerants are the same, when the GWP values are compared, it is seen that the R32 refrigerant has a lower value.
