Abstract (EN)

Objective: In this study we aimed to investigate the quality of life of obese women are sexual. Materials and Methods: This is a descriptive and comparative study. Denizli City Center of 1 public hospital, the hospital's obesity Bariatric Surgery outpatient clinic-1 Special Unit, 1 nutrition and diet center and 2 Family Health Center (FHC) the applicant 18-45 aged overweight (n=30), obese (n: 30) and morbidly obese (n: 30) total 90 created the research group of cases of married women. 18-45 control group, the survey reached normal weight married between the ages of FHC's women occurred (n=90). In the collection of the data "form" and "Sexual quality of life the handle Features Scale-woman (SQLQ-F)"and "don't be satisfied with Scale Body Regions and Properties was made (BPSS)" was used and women body measurements. Results: : Participants in the study case group, women SQLQ-F point average 90,01 ± 14,42 (24,44-100,00), 98,78 ± BPSS score at 12.30 (65,00-122,00); control group women's SQLQ-F point average 93,09 ± 12,44 (22,22-100,00) BPSS point average is 115,15 ± 9,26 (81,00-125,00) found. There was no significant difference between the introductory characteristics of women and the SQLQ-F score average (p>0,05).. Conclusion: As a result, women being obese research sexual it is possible to say that adversely affect the quality of life. Key words: Obesity, Women, Sexuality, Life Quality, Body Image
