The examination of a theoretical model which centred to the students major choices' determiners and results: An application on Osmani̇ye Korkut Ata University's students

In this study, the factors affecting students' section preferences have been asked to investigate the impact on satisfaction. To this purpose, Osmaniye Korkut Ata University of Arts and Sciences, Economics and Administrative Sciences and the Faculty of Engineering in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade students in the study were included, the analysis was performed by utilizing information obtained from the 433 students in this faculty. In this thesis, the factors affecting students' section preferences and satisfaction examines solved with "Correlation, Variance Analysis and Independent sample t tests". The analysis shows to be influence in the preferences section of the students' personality structure, personal, family and environmental factors. When the student would prefer the university and department according to students' personality structure, with the support of their families, their section satisfaction has increased.
