Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this study is to determine the causes of conflicts experien cedby thein structors and directors and them et hods of suchconflicts.The study arranged in line with the review model. Population of this study consists of the public schools in Mardin in the spring term of 2014 year. Sampling selection is performed with "easily accessible principle". Thesamples of the study consists of 922 teachers in 44 public schools in thedistricts of Artuklu and Kızıltepe. "Personal Information Scale" is used in the 1stpart of thestudy, "Causes of Conflict Scale", adapted by Canlı (2001)is used in the 2ndpart, and "Conflict Management Approaches Scale" developed by Holtan ve Holton(1993) and adapted by Karip (1999) is used in the 3rdpart. SPSS17.0 (Statistical Packageforthe Social Sciences) software package is used intheanalysis of the data. Factor Analysis is appli ed for the purposes of determining the number of factors for the 2ndpart. Forthe 3rdpart, T-Test and ANOVA (One-Way Analysis of Variance) are performedtoin vestigatethatwhether"Conflict Management Approaches" scalevariesbased on the personal differencesor not. While "communication" is primary cause of conflict experienced by educators, issues in subheadings such as method of working, management and privilege, and attitude followed respectively. While educators mostlyuse "cooperation" method in conflictmanagement, it is followed by methods of reconciliation, avoidance, and compliance.
