Abstract (EN)
It is a known fact that educators need a continuous support in using technological devices and facilitating digital processes. Any kind of training given under the professional development is usually in vain. The most common problems faced within any professional development are unwillingness in participation, lack of time and inappropriate targets. What is needed to design and develop the professional development is the utilization of adult learning principles. Technology, besides, is another solution to professional development with appropriate facilitation. This study, thus, utilizes adult learning principles and designs and applies a flipped professional development regarding faculty members' Web 2.0 use. Design based research approached is used for the study. For the first phase, flipped professional development is designed and a pilot test is carried. The second phase included the necessary revisions and the main application. Results indicate that: an informative meeting; detailed practical information, flexible activities, and interaction were the main themes. A framework was proposed under the light of results and experience gained throughout the study under the titles of the informative meeting, professional development approach, researcher characteristics, feedback and flexible content, and prototype process.
