An english languge curriculum design proposal for nursery classes at pre- school education

In this research, it has been aimed to prepare an English language curriculum outline proposal for pre-school English language classes. To achive this goal, Turkish and European Union countries? education systems were compared, all the data was analyzed to construct a language curriculum program outline and as answers to the sub problems. While listing the sub problems, they were designed as objectives, content, teachinglearning processes and evaluation parts that form a curriculum. The main goals in language teaching at an early age are to enrich the children?s outlook to different cultures, to make them positive for language learning and continue ?learning to learn behaviours? through their whole life. The main point is not to teach the foreign language like a native language. About the content of the teaching English at an early age program, private schools? teaching processes have been studied and a program of 10 units has been prepared. The content has been prepared suitably for the children?s development of mental, physical, psycho-motor and language capabilities. Methods and techniques about foreign language teaching-learning stages at an early age have been studied and stated in the related comments section. In these studies; researchers suggest that pre-school students must mostly be exposed to the games. Activities should vary and involve much more action. About the evaluation processes, the data related to children?s development of physical, mental, psychomotor and language capabilities has been studied and what the children can do has been listed. All evaluation process will be focused on activities like cutting, coloring, speaking, picture placement, pronunciation exercises etc.
