The attitudes of preschool teachers towards science education and the situations of application of science activities in preschool education curriculum

In this research, it was aimed to examined the attitudes of pre-school teachers towards science teaching and the application of science activities in the pre-school program. The work group of the research is occurred by the pre-school teachers depending on the Ministry of Education in Uşak centre and districts just like Karahallı Banaz Ulubey Eşme Sivaslı Banaz in 2017-2018 Education Term. In obtaining the data of scientific research, science teaching scale has been used to determine pre-school teachers attitudes towards science education. Besides, Interview forms and measuring tool forms have been used to determine the situation and the level and the application of the pre –school teachers' of science activities included the pre-school education program. As a result of research, pre-school teachers' attitudes towards science teaching were found to positive. The rest of the activities have been practiced highly by more than half of pre-school teachers participated in this research. When we look at the reasons why pre-school teachers can not apply the science activities in the pre-school curriculum, pre-school teachers reported that they could not apply the science activities included in the pre-school education program due to the lack of material tools and the lack of time. It has been found that there is a significant relationship between the attitudes of pre-school teachers participating in the research on attitudes towards science teaching and the science activities in the pre-school program.
