Abstract (EN)

This study quantitatively examines the impact of individual recreational gains on sustainable event awareness within school sports organizations, with the participation of 343 physical education and sports teachers working in the DOKAP RDP region during the 2024-2025 academic year. Utilizing a relational survey model, the research identifies that teachers' perceptions of physical, psychological, and social recreational benefits, as well as their consciousness regarding the long-term, systematic, and environmentally sensitive management of sports events, are at a high level. Statistical analyses demonstrate that the efficiency teachers derive from their own leisure time significantly and positively predicts their professional sustainable event awareness; furthermore, demographic variables such as gender, age, and sports branch were found to play a decisive role in these processes. In light of these findings, it is recommended that teachers' participation in recreational activities be supported at the institutional level to enhance the quality of school sports, that sustainability-themed in-service training be integrated into national education policies, and that future research incorporate diverse stakeholders, such as school administrators, through qualitative methods for more in-depth analysis.
