Abstract (EN)

In the study, according to opinions of teachers in secondary education institutions, which apply general high school program, the relation between the leadership styles of school administrators and the skill of the effective use of knowledge management process was aimed to determine.Research universe consists of teachers working in secondary education institutions applying general high school program in Ankara. The sample consists of the teachers working in 17 schools of 111 schools of research universe.In the scope of the research, intended to get opinions of teachers two questionnaires are used to define the leadership characteristics of school administrators ?Multifactor Leadership Questinaire (MLQ)? and to determine the effectiveness of school administrators on knowledge management process ?Knowledge Manegement Process Questinaire (KMPQ)?.The data collected from questionnaires is transferred to SPSS program and commented by analyzing.As a result of the research,1)According to teachers? thoughts, administrators of secondary education institutions show more transformational leadership behavior.2)When it is compared with the interactional leadership characteristics, the values of the relation between transformational leadership characteristics and the steps of knowledge management process are apparently high.Based on the results, a suggestions section is prepared by the researcher at the end of the research.
