Abstract (EN)

The research consists of an introduction, four main sections, and a conclusion. The first section examines the life of the poet Omar Abu Risha, focusing on his upbringing, environment, education, and life stages, along with the social, political, and cultural circumstances that surrounded them. It also highlights his place in the course of modern Arabic poetry, his role in bridging tradition and modernity, and the literary status he achieved through his poetic and intellectual experience. The second section explores the themes and subjects of his poetry, such as love, homeland, description, and elegy, showing how the poet managed to unify emotion with commitment and to express the nation's collective feelings through artistic forms that combine authenticity and modernity. The third section analyzes the form and style of his poetry, through a study of his relationship with the Arabic poetic heritage, his innovative and modern tendencies, his linguistic and stylistic features, imagery, symbolism, and rhetorical devices. It also examines the internal music and rhythmic structure of his verse, including meter and rhyme. The fourth section focuses on comparisons and influences, by contrasting his poetry with that of his most prominent contemporaries, studying the impact of Western culture on his artistic experience, and identifying the echoes of his poetry in both Turkish and world literature. Finally, the conclusion summarizes the key findings and results of the study, affirming that Omar Abu Risha stands as one of the foremost pioneers of modern Arabic poetry, combining genuine experience with deep aesthetic and intellectual awareness.
