Abstract (EN)
As a result of the increasing world population and the increase in demand, businesses are forced to produce more products. In order to produce more products, enterprises either invest or improve their existing processes. Since investing is not an ideal solution for every business, the improvement of existing processes is becoming more and more important. At the same time, companies need to improve not only their own processes but also the processes of their suppliers and customers. In other words, the optimization of the supply chain is essential for improving the processes of companies. The most appropriate process that can be improved within the supply chain is logistics. Recent studies support this. For this reason, the Milk-Run with backhauls problem, which has not been mentioned in the literature before, has been the main focus of this study. In this study, mixed integer mathematical model of Milk-Run with backhauls problem is discussed. The model and method was tested on a dairy product factory. When the results are examined, it is seen that the proposed method gives very good results compared to the current situation
