Abstract (EN)

In this study, to decreasing the weight of spur gears, the holes have different profile ( square, rectangular, hexagon circle, ellipse etc. ) had been designed on the gear body. Designing these models of spur gear, the solid type of spur gear which was drawn at SOLIDWORKS has a CAD programmed was obtained. The behaviors of strength of these spur gears had examined at Cosmosxpress of SolidWorks. During these examining, the best model carried out which have been six holes and step. The optimization of weight of model of spur gear which has six holes and step had been made. At result of this optimization, designing of a new spur gear had been made stres analyzing according to new dimensions of spur gear which was obtained. As a result of this exploration, it was seen that the values of stress had increased. When length of a teeth of spur gear was increased, the result of analyzing values of stress is beter. As a result it was seen that the weight of spur gear was excessive decreased, the values of stress of spur gear had increased.
