Abstract (EN)
Organ and tissue transplantation have frequently been on the agenda of the public in recent years with the developing possibilities of medicine. It is important to determine the legal principles regarding the transplantation process that have effects on the body integrity of the organ donor and the organ recipient, and how to evaluate the illegal acts that will take place during this process in terms of criminal law. In the first part of our study, the power of disposition of individuals over their bodies and the limits of this authority in terms of purpose and subject are examined. In the second part of our study, concepts related to organ and tissue transplantation process, history of organ and tissue transplantation and organ and tissue transplantation types are discussed. In the third part of our study, crimes related to organ and tissue transplantation processes are examined.
