Abstract (EN)
Today, information from the perspective of organizations is one of the important sources of production. With the help of information sharing, organizations make information open and useful and spread them rapidly to the departments within the organization. With the developing world today's organization managers understand the importance of information sharing, using the information more effectively and efficiently, they want to increase the sharing of information in between employees. As a part of the organization, in addition to the information sharing, the concept of information security, which can be managed well and effectively, has been included in the lives of organizations. It is seen that how information sharing in organizations is also closely related with the of information security. In this study, information, information management, information sharing, information security concepts are discussed. The aim of the research is to investigate the effects of attitudes of the personnel working in private teaching institutions on information sharing process on information security. The sample of the research is composed of 374 education staff including 161 private teaching course center employees and 213 private school employees who work in a private teaching institution determined by the sample that will represent the universe. This is a descriptive study and quantitative research model was used. The first part of the data collection form includes demographic characteristics for the participants, the second part includes the information sharing scale and the third part includes the information security scale. SPSS 16.00 package program was used for data analysis. Kruskal Wallis Variance test and Mann-Whitney U test were used to determine whether dependent variables differ according to socio-demographic characteristics. Spearman Correlation and Regression analysis were performed to test the relationship between information sharing scale and information security scale. In the research, it was found that there was a moderately significant (r = 0.406, p<0.01) relationship between the organizational information sharing level and the information security variable. In addition, when the sub-dimensions of organizational information sharing level and information security level were examined, a significant relationship was found in all dimensions. As a result of regression analysis, it was seen that organizational information sharing variable had a significant effect on information security variable (R = 0.23, p <0.01). According to the findings of the research, it was determined that the level of organizational information sharing affects information security positively. The results were interpreted as literature supported.
