Abstract (EN)

ABSTRACT It is thought that with the spiritual perception to be created within the organization; depression, stress, finding work life meaningless, unmet expectations and burnout that will occur as a result of all these problems can be solved. With this idea that constitutes the starting point of the study, the main purpose of the study has been determined and in the first three sections; organizational spirituality, burnout and spiritual leadership issues have been examined theoretically. In the fourth section, a research has been carried out on determining the regulatory role of spiritual leadership in the effect of organizational spirituality on burnout, which is also the main purpose of the study. In line with the determined purpose, the opinions of healthcare professionals working in Public Hospitals located in Batman city center were sought by using the survey technique. In this context, SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 23.0 were used to analyze the 505 valid data obtained. Before applying statistical analyzes to the data obtained as a result of the research, validity and reliability analysis were subjected as a prerequisite, and then descriptive statistics regarding the data were determined. After determining that the data had a normal distribution, the process of testing the hypotheses was started. As a result of the Pearson Correlation Analysis, statistically significant relationships were found between organizational spirituality and burnout at a negative and strong level, between organizational spirituality and spiritual leadership at a positive and strong level, and between burnout and spiritual leadership at a negative and moderate level. In order to determine the effect size between the variables in the study, path analysis was performed and it was concluded that organizational spirituality has a high level, negative and statistically significant effect on burnout. In addition, the moderating role of spiritual leadership in the effect of organizational spirituality on burnout was supported in the light of the analysis data obtained. Finally, it was determined that the meaningful work dimension of organizational spirituality has a negative and significant effect on all sub-dimensions of burnout and that this effect decreases as the next stage of burnout is passed (as burnout progresses). Depending on these results, our research has achieved its purpose. Key Words: Spirituality, Organizational Spirituality, Burnout, Leadership, Spiritual Leadership
