Abstract (EN)

In this study, researched in the Middle Black Sea Region fauna of family Ceratopogonidae (Insecta: Diptera) during the years of 2007- 2008. In the Middle Black Sea Region totally 57 species belonging to Allohelea, Alluaudomyia, Atrichopogon, Bezzia, Brachypogon, Culicoides, Dasyhelea, Forcipomyia, Leptoconops, Palpomyia, Stilobezzia were determined. The genera, Allohelea, Alluaudomyia and Brachypogon, the species Allohelea tessellata (Zetterstedt), Alluaudomyia riparia Clastrier, Atrichopogon infuscus Goetghebuer, A. minutus (Meigen), Bezzia albicornis (Meigen), B. kuhetiensis Remm, Brachypogon vaillanti (Mayer), B. vitiosus (Winnertz), Culicoides brunnicans Edwards, Dasyhelea calycata Remm, D. fasciigera Kieffer, D. kurensis Remm, D. modesta (Winnertz), D. pallidiventris (Goetghebuer), D. saxicola (Edwards), Forcipomyia frutetorum (Winnertz), F. velox (Winnertz), F. acidicola (Tokunaga), F. brevipennis (Macquart), F. fuliginosa (Meigen), F. glauca Macfie, F. murina (Winnertz), Leptoconops bidendatus Gutsevich, Palpomyia flavipes (Meigen), P. serripes (Meigen) are the first time recorded from Turkey.
