Improvement of measurement tools to identify the level of readiness of the 9th grade students in secondary education for the unit of electiricity and magnetism

The aim of this survey for the 9th grade students is improve a qualified measurement tool which can be used to determine the level of the readiness, the validity an reliability has been proved by various statistical studies.In this way, teachers will be able to get the data which is needed to know their students, plan teaching and identify the teaching goals about their students.At the beginning of the study, acquisitions belonged to the unit of electricity and magnetism from the physics programme of the 9th grade has been analyzed.The acquisitions, based on he units of the ?Electricity In Our Life? in the 6th, 7th and 8th grades, primary school, have been determined by the view of the expert.The first test about the questions of these acquisitions has been presented for the validity content to view of the specialist. In this stage the corrections have been done. The selected 95 students carried to the last version of the test. The distinguishing and difficulty indexes of these test elements were measured.The last test was obtained after the elements of these indexes,which are not at the desired rate had been corrected. This last test was carried out into the selected 100 9th grade sudents.The elements of istatistic were measured with the new obtained data and low distinguishing matter wasn?t seen. The average distinguishing index in the last is 0,38, the average difficulty index is 0,54.In order to identify the reliability of the measurement too, Cronbach?s Alpha coefficient technique was used and reliability of the test elements is 0,741.
