Evaluation of organizational culture perception according to the views of teachers at high schools (Giresun province case)

This survey is aimed to determine the perception of the organisational culture on the views of the teacher working in the high schools of the province Giresun. The inputs of the survey are obtained from the teachers who are working in 319 high schools in the center of Giresun province. In this survey school culture developed tests are used to define the perception of the teachers about school culture.According to the results of the survey the most dominant cultural item is mission culture as the teachers in Giresun province high schools stated.The mission culture is followed by supportculture success culture and bureaucratic culture respectively.Also,we didn't see any subsitantial difference in science high schools,Anatolian high schools and occupational high schools according to the variables of gender, branch andthetypesofschool but it is found out that there are subsitantial differences in the organisation culture perception, success culture and mission culture of the teachers according to the period of service variables.According to the results of the survey the teachers who work at science high schools perceive the success culture more than the teachers who work at Anatolia high schools and occupational high schools and also the teachers who workat science high schools perceive the mission culture monethain the occupational high schools.
