Abstract (EN)
The study entitled "The sociological analysis of scouting activities in high schools" (in Kütahya) aims the determination of scouting programs and its contribution to students'behaviors. In the study the development of scouting activities in Turkey and in the world has been introduced. In order to determine the positive affects of scouting on the development of pesonality traits, a questionaire has been prepared. This questionaire has been administered to two different groups of students on a group taking scouting training and the other not taking scouting training. The collected data have been analyzed through t-test for independent groups. The results have revealed that the subjects who have taken the scouting activities have been found to have positive behaviors when compared with the others not having attended to those activities.
