Abstract (EN)
In this research, it was aimed to investigate the relationship between high school students' use of 21st century learner skills and their school success. The research was conducted with the relational screening model. It consists of 610 high school students studying in Sakarya province in 2018-2019. In this research, with the Demographic Information Form, the 21st century The Learner Skills Use Scale was used. In addition, the scores of the students from the paper-pencil tests and performance tests in the 2018-2019 academic year were used. While analyzing the data, descriptive statistics, non-parametric Mann Whitney U test and Kruskal Wallis test, and Spearman Brown rank difference correlation coefficient were used to test the relationships. According to the results of the research, it was determined that there were significant differences between female students and male students in terms of the use of cognitive skills and the use of autonomous skills 21st century. There is a significant difference in the use of learner skills, use of cognitive skills, and use of innovative skills according to the school type variable. There is a significant difference in the scores of the students in pencil-paper tests and performance tests according to both gender and school type variables. 21st century with Physics, Chemistry, History, Turkish Language and Literature lessons. It has been determined that there is a positive significant relationship between their skills. In the light of these results, suggestions were made for future research.
