Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this use is to examine the evaluation and use cases of using primary education mathematics in the Ministry of National Education regarding skill-based assessments. In the first part of the research, the importance of the concept of skill-based questions, question styles in LGS, mathematics education and basic skills, mathematical literacy, central exams were discussed and created within this framework, inspired by the studies on skill-based questions in the literature. This research is a qualitative research since it examines the opinions and usage situations of the participants regarding the skill-based questions. The study group of the research consisted of 115 secondary school mathematics teachers working in public secondary schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education throughout Turkey in the 2020-2021 academic year. The data obtained in the interview form (Google Forms) for teachers were evaluated by content analysis method. Frequency and percentage values were used while analyzing the data. As a result of the research, it was concluded that the examination system was effective in the opinions of the educators regarding the skill-based questions, the rate of use in the LGS group was higher than the other levels, the participants had difficulties in integrating the skill-based questions into the lesson, and in-service training or various guidance services should be provided in this regard.
