Peer bullying in secondary school students: Adana Province Yüreği̇r District pilot working

In this study, it was aimed to determine the peer bullying rates among the students in three secondary schools, and to determine the relationship between some variables according to the situations of victim and bully in the cases of peer bullying. This study was conducted with 5, 6, 7 and 8th grade students of three different secondary schools in 2018-2019. The research has a cross-sectional and relational screening model. Data were obtained by using elde Sociodemographic Information Form and Peer Bullying Determination Child Form. Data were analyzed using SPSS 21 software package program. According to the results of this study, it was found that 36.7% of the students were bully, 57.5% were victims and 32.7% were bully-victims. It has been identified. 61% of the male students and 54.5% of the female students were found to be bully. Both girls and boys are in similar proportions in terms of verbal bullying, rumors about the rumor being removed and damage to their belongings. Exclusion among both victim and bully was more common among female students. In the bully group, physical and verbal bullying scores generally increase as the class rises. The number of siblings 4 and above; 1, 2 and 3 siblings were found to be higher than the mean total sacrifice. The scores of victims (victims) and those exposed to exclusion (victim) scores were found to be higher and statistically significant than those with poor economic status and those with poor. As the victim's total scores and physical bullying, all other sub-dimensions decrease the success of the school. As the time spent on the Internet increases, the scores of those who experience physical bullying are increasing. When the score of the victims who were subjected to physical bullying was examined, the scores of the players were higher than those who were interested in videos, music, movies, series and social networking sites. The results are interpreted and discussed with the literature.
