Determining the reading culture levels of secondary school students

The purpose of this study is whether it shows a demonstration according to school education, selection from education, English education, reading goals. Descriptive scanning was preferred in the study. The study groups in the research are 250 students from the 7th grades of secondary schools in Burdur, 2020-2021. The data of the research were obtained by Türkel (2017) "Reading Culture" and "Personal Information Form". Data analysis was carried out with the SPSS program. In the analysis of the data, "frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, t test, MANOVA and ANOVA" were preferred. It is seen that the course of the research is positive for secondary school education and generally positive. It is presented in a way that is designed for education related to secondary school education culture. The applications for the education education of female students are more positive than the opinions of male students.
