Abstract (EN)
Turkish education, due to its relationship with social and human disiplines, is a field that expands the boundaries of the language used by individuals while developing their worlds of emotions, thoughts and dreams. This quality of Turkish education reveals the need for the materials to be used in Turkish course textbooks to be designed with an interdisciplinary approach and to carry individuals to content related to social and human disciğlines along with Turkish education. The issue to be emphasized is that the functionality of the texts to be used in Turkish education in terms of understanding and expression skills is as important as its functionality in terms of bringing students together with an "interdisciplinary" field and the rich content of social and human disciplines. Based on all these, the aim of the thesis is to reveal the relations of the content (theme, text, activities/questions) of secondary school (5th-8th grades) Turkish comprehension skills (reading, listening/watching) with social and human disciplines within the framework of the Turkish Course Curriculum (2019). In our study based on the document analysis method, Turkish Lesson Curriculum (2019) and secondary school (5th-8th Grades) Turkish course textbooks were examined. The relations of the Turkish language course with social and human disciplines are discussed through the content of comprehension skills in Turkish textbooks; it has been revealed which disciplines the themes, texts and activities/questions are predominantly related to, and findings have been presented regarding the extent to which the prominent disciplines are included in comprehension skills. In the analyzes carried out in the context of comprehension skills, the current situation regarding the relationship of secondary school Turkish course textbooks with social and human disciplines was tried to be revealed through themes, texts and activities/questions.
