Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to evaluate the instructional school street application, which is within the scope of the hidden curriculum, which we have frequently encountered in schools in recent years, according to the views of foreign language teachers. It is thought that taking the opinions of foreign language teachers who prepare and organize the instructional school street application and guide their students on this subject will create awareness about this practice. instructional school street application was evaluated with the findings obtained as a result of qualitative interviews conducted with ten foreign language teachers in line with general purposes. This research is a qualitative research and a semi-structured interview form developed by the researcher was used as a data collection tool. When the findings obtained from the interviews were examined, all the foreign language teachers participating in the study stated that the instructional school street application contributed to the foreign language learning of students within the scope of the hidden curriculum, increased their motivation for foreign language lessons, contributed to the academic success of students in foreign language lessons and positively affected the foreign language course process. In addition, foreign language teachers stated that with this application, they transferred foreign language teaching outside the classroom, the interaction of students with each other increased, they unwittingly gained knowledge and skills for the target language, and it was facilitated to reach the gains in the official curriculum. In addition to these, foreign language teachers have received both support and positive responses from their students, the school administration and students 'parents while preparing the instructional school street application, ready-made and hand-made materials that motivate students and that coincide with the acquisitions in the official program for students' interests, wishes, levels and needs They stated that they used student studies and generally updated the materials and studies in the instructional school street application at the end of each unit and encountered problems such as time, materiality and programming in this process.
