Abstract (EN)

In this day of the Information Age, due to technological advancements,businesses find themselves facing the increasing information capacity. Inaccordance, information technologies that allow for attaining, organizing,storing and relaying information where and when necessary to be accomplishedare becoming increasingly important as well.In this study, the multi-faceted results of information technologies onhotel administrations in four and five star hotels in Turkey is examined indetail. This study consists of three chapter. In the first and second chapter,secondary data are examined in terms based on literary review. In the thirdchapter, the data acquired through field research are examined.In the field study, data has been attained through surveys completed bythe middle and upper level administrations of four and five star hotels withTourism Certification in Turkey. Due to the research field encompassing theentire country, various methods, such as face-face interviews, fax, phone, andemail were utilized wherever possible.The data gathered through the surveys was then examined using SPSS13.0. The variables, once designated as independent and dependent, have thenbeen analyzed using statistical tests such as factor analysis, t-test, one-wayAnova, correlation and regression analysis.
