Abstract (EN)

This research aimed to examine the multidimensional effects of digitalization on human resources management in the hotel industry. The data obtained through semi-structured interviews revealed that digital human resources applications provide a significant transformation not only in terms of operational efficiency but also in terms of strategic decision-making, employee experience and corporate culture. According to the research findings; the use of digital systems in areas such as recruitment, performance management, payroll and training speeds up processes and makes them more transparent. However, it was emphasized that the transition to fully automated systems has both technical and ethical limitations, and that human touch is indispensable, especially in areas requiring emotional intelligence, empathy and crisis management. Participants stated that they have taken various precautions against risks such as data security, algorithmic bias and digital exclusion brought by digitalization. In line with similar studies in the literature, this research has shown that digitalization restructures human resources functions, but that this is not only a technological, but also a managerial, cultural and ethical transition process. Therefore, the research draws attention to the necessity of implementing hybrid systems together with human-centered approaches in order to ensure the sustainability of digital-HRM in the hotel sector.
