Abstract (EN)

Although ADPKD is a rare disease, it is a tubulointestinal disease that ranks first among hereditary kidney diseases and ranks fourth in the etiology of chronic kidney disease (CKD), defined by renal cyst formation and increased renal volume, and may also have various extrarenal findings. Ourgoal in ourwork is; This is a retrospective examination of the relationship between the renal volumes measured by magnetic resonance (MR) and the demographic and laboratory data of patients diagnosed with ADPKD followed in ourclinic. In this study we aimed to; retrospective examination of the relationship between the renal volumes measured by magnetic resonance and the demographic and laboratory data of patients diagnosed with ADPKD followed in our clinic. The average age of our patients was 45±12.58 and the average BMI was 26.29±3.6. It was observed that the average age was higher in the patient group with GFR=15-59 ml/min, which was statistically significant and compatible with studies in the literature (p<0.005). It was observed that there was a negative correlation between the total kidney volumes and GFR of the patients included in our study (p<0.005). Our patients whose total kidney volumes increased; It was determined that platelet values decreased and creatinine, blood urea nitrogen (BUN), phosphorus, uric acid and parathormone values increased (p<0.005). It was found to be compatible with studies in the literature. It was observed that hemoglobin, platelet and albumin values were higher in the patient group with GFR≥60 ml/min than in the patient group with GFR=15-59 ml/min. Phosphorus, BUN, creatinine, sedimentation, parathormone and uricacid values were found to be lower in the patient group with GFR≥60 ml/min than in the patient group with GFR=15-59 ml/min (p<0.005). Right, left and total kidney volume measurements were found to be lower in the patient group with GFR≥60 ml/min compared to the patient group with GFR=15-59 ml/min, and this was statistically significant (p<0.005). KeyWords: Autosomal Polycystic Kidney Disease, kidney volume
