Abstract (EN)

The performance of teachers working in private education institutions is directly proportional to their motivation. When the employees working in institutions can be satisfied with various motivational tools, their job satisfaction and productivity will increase. The increase in the job satisfaction of the employees will increase the quality of teaching and will reflect positively on the students receiving service. Failure to motivate the employees sufficiently will distract the institutions from the desired goals. Lack of motivation in employees may lead to labour losses and turnover. In this study, it was tried to determine the situations affecting the motivation of teachers working in private education institutions. SPSS Version 21.0 programme was used in the statistical analysis of the study. Whether the variables are suitable for normal distribution was evaluated with the 'Kolmogorov-Smirnov Normality Test' since the number of participants was 429 people. The research consists of two parts. In the first part, theoretical information about the subject of the research was compiled by giving information about the definition of teaching and private education institutions. In the second part, the findings and method of the research are presented.
