Abstract (EN)
A novel shape descriptor for object recognition is designed in this research study. With the advances in computer technology and artificial intelligence, new object recognition algorithms are developed. Various object recognition algorithms exist in the literatüre. Our study is a novel one and compared with other algorithms our novel algorithm shows high performance with fewer data. As preprocessing, well known Canny edge detector is used. Shape descriptor is built using various algorithms applied to edge image of input.
